Zywa The fish fly

The great sea
foams impetuously
The ships are struggling

through, dive up
from the waves, again and again
on their way to the port

that tames the wild water
The fish fly
out of the hands of the skippers
quickly ashore, to high piles

under the brown-red sky
of the setting sun
and the ships leap up

On the dark horizon
the sea is dreaming restlessly
in a night without time

Zywa The vow

In silence and darkness
we come together solemnly

the vow is brought in
We solemnly light our candles

with the candles, we sing thanks, sing
for our ancestors, the panthers solemnly

We praise the lion of reason
We feed the dove of peace

We ask the blessing of the phoenix that watches
over our children and grandchildren

We repeat the vow solemnly

Panter	be impartial
Lion	kill if necessary
Dove	dont betray anyone
Phoenix	take care of everyone

We are the panther and the lion
we are the dove and the phoenix

that is our vow

to each other and to our children
hand in hand in hand solemnly

In darkness the very first
awakening

of light that ignites in stars everywhere
in space existing just now

by strands of galaxies
slung apart, the string

of the bow, everything is vibrating, and
nobody knows about arrow and target

A spirit begins
to be aware, fertile

purple calyxes in large dark green leaves
the self-fertilizing egg

that the unloved woman desires
to become pregnant

Zywa Siesta

Siesta, angelic music
strews holy words in my ears

draws them on the front and the back
in relief in the auricles. Am I dozing

or has someone awakened
the flowers? I lie so comfortably

in the sun, safe in the green
field, my face blushes blue

from the royal chalice between my legs
the flowers just laugh and sing

The work is done, yes I doze
of holiness
