and it must remain so
Dangers are looming -

the familiar list:
war, revolution, poverty
reactionaries, trade unions, and

leftist critics, instigators
with their large caricatures
whom we, the President, denounce

for sedition and conspiracy
against the state, our country
our great country

We urge the postal service
and call up the cartoonists
for military service

Should they go into hiding
or flee across the border?
Even then, they are silenced!

We close the printing presses due to infiltration
We arrest the editorial staff for defamation
We dismantle their offices
