Zywa Diamonds

Our relationship faded to some

words loaded with feelings
around a heartful of rust
Beautiful memories

The colour of your eyes

That first time, lost
in each other, together
we found the way

Everything you are good at

that you have to let go anyway
Gifts without pretension
given hand in hand

for the hotel, in falling leaves

Breathing clouds without text
Snowflakes adorn our hair
It might last forever

Zywa Dear bodyhome

Dear bodyhome, you're everything, don't stop
Hold on, keep going, please do not give up
Just tell me what you want and I'll obey
it's coming, it's already on its way

Dear bodyhome, I do know what I say
Not all or nothing, but a middle way
I will adapt to your capacity
let us continue in sincerity

Dear bodyhome, please trust me, I implore
there'll be no lonely worries anymore
You are the master, I'm your personnel
together we shall manage very well

Zywa Dreaming my dream

I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
like a stray dog, truly free
She was walking down the road
amazed at what She did see
Although her clothes once white were soiled
her laugh was pure and gay:
Please come and walk a mile with me
               It is a lovely day!

Wait, here I come, I called to Her
then I woke up thanks to this scream
I longed for peace to come
               and trusted that my dream
shall be dreamt by many sleepers
at night and during the day
that they will work together
               without violence, profit or delay

I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
               forever hearty and hale
looking out for free souls
not sold and not for sale
And weeping softly in my bed
               I knew, I won't be led astray
I felt, from now on, from today
She will show the way, She'll show the way

Zywa I dreamed of peace tonight

I dreamed of peace tonight
oh dear, I have to hold on tight:
people sharing things together
it's really unpredictable!
But still, whatever I may feel
my dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

I dreamed of peace tonight:
love in practice overnight
as if some magic has occurred
without coercion or force majeure
assented by the Privy Seal!
My dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

I dreamed of peace tonight
it was there for years alright
often promised, not believed
but persistently conceived:
it's what I fight for, my ideal!
My dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

Zywa Hand in love

Will it be alright, or shall I always
have to make it do, always
holding my man's hand
so that he does not fall?

Will it be alright, or will it
not last?
Is he too just a dupe
of himself?

My first angel
delivered pills, he brought
heaven to the camping site
and soon became a home for me

Celebrating birthdays
with the whole family
Nice and quiet days
My life became mine

The others also flew
like angels high
on my breath, to be free
away, from me, from home

I waited
Come into my arms
Listen to me
Take care of me

Zywa The days when he is sweet

When he loves me
I think he is better
than I know him to be
Adventures lure him

He enthusiastically magnifies them
in compelling stories
and our love
he scales down
My friends also
hang on

to the attention they get
on the days when he is sweet
and they don't worry
about what else he's doing

Love is just a four-letter word (Bob Dylan / Joan Baez) - 1967
Song, not recorded by Bob Dylan; sung by Joan Baez on the 1968 album "Any Day Now"
Collection: Great Flow
Keywords: Love: flawed, Manly (tough)
Tribute to: Dylan, Bob; Baez, Joan

Zywa Love is just a word

When I was young, I still remember that
I used to wear a broad-brimmed hat
and once, while sunning in the grass I heard
a girl, her voice was singing like a bird
and telling someone stories of their kid
she asked to call more often than he did
though she was doing fine without him, actually
for men are tempted much too willingly
and love is just a word, eventually

I couldn't believe the words she said
and cautiously I moved a bit ahead
to be surprised: I saw, her laugh lay
there next to his, enjoying her day
I wondered what I failed to know
to me this couple seemed to show
that love is like it has to be
much more than just a word, eventually?

That sunny day in spring I went
away not knowing what she meant
but later all my boyfriends taught me
that arms embracing sweetly in the night
as well may hold another woman tight
while whispering I truly love just you
what everyone preferably holds true
to: love is just a word, eventually

Love is just a four-letter word (Bob Dylan / Joan Baez) - 1967
Song, not recorded by Bob Dylan; sung by Joan Baez on the 1968 album "Any Day Now"
Collection: Great Flow
Keyword: Love: infidelity
Tribute to: Dylan, Bob; Baez, Joan

Zywa Moving along

With flushes of a springtime burn we sat
together on the beach, and I remember that
my little sister wore a fancy hat

Her breast stripped half, for feeding, she
intensely watched the baby on her knee
and with a wink she shared this love with me

She added: being faithful is a free choice

Was this some kind of spoiler
telling love is less than pleasure?
I hardly could believe her

and quickly looked at her husband for a clue
but having no experience, a good thing too
I did not dare to ask: is it true?

Can being faithful really always be a free choice?

I saw the puppies run around and play
saw castle walls, been built and washed away
And red briefs were a flapping flag on top of the day

I lay and thought about what she
had said, and asked myself when would it be
the end of love, inevitably

if being faithful is an option and a free choice

I saw relationships as quite a safe adventure
of looking for a sort of structure
of moving with each other, at the wheel together

but every kiss of love for its eternity
sets out to travel, wants to fly and easily
seduces someone else, occasionally

for being faithful always is a free choice

Zywa The wanderer's drum

Darling, don't keep dreaming
of the Madonna I don't want to be
Why

do you put me high
in heaven, just for you
and the children, too good

for others, maybe
for you too, you hesitate
every day to be with me

You'd rather attribute all kinds
of things you ever saw, to me
and you mess up my name

to the beat of your heart
the drum of a wanderer
who secretly married me

Was that the real reason, your wish
to leave your doings
as they were?

Zywa Heaven of dissatisfaction

Darling word-artist
you point out what you see
and the facades collapse
it is a miracle that you stand by
People come to it, they want to
believe in you

Darling word-artist
your words confuse you
and haunt you, screaming
from the mouths of people
who want to be redeemed
by you

For hours, they explain each other
what you mean, or they write out
contractual guarantees. You pull
yourself away, with self-mockery
you captivate the people who cheer
It is true what you say

you take yourself too seriously
Why don't you save yourself?
Why do you choose to wander
in your dreams to find
redemption in the heaven
of your dissatisfaction?

Zywa Does it spark?

My love, why are you still dreaming
of the Madonna I don't want to be?
Why are you standing at the window
with your back to the woman
who wants to take care of you?

Do you see only short circuits
in the depths of the city, car in
car out, while you want a woman
who is above that, averse
to backseat fiddling?

Why do you dream
of escaping? What makes
her nest, my affection a cage?
Why do you dream
of Mona Lisa?

Is there no power there?
Is it only sparking, faintly
somewhere between your belly
and your head? Does it spark
with her too? You hope?

Zywa Love indivisible

People weigh what is not told
add their regret to what they sold
loving what they've gained to hold
all of them disgusted by their loss

Like that, I do not want to live
all the time there's much to give
if I'm not lazy, rather passive
what chance will bring across

However, let us get it straight
there is no force of Fate
So take deep breaths, just wait
and watch attentively

Let the many winds with their
brushes made of fluffy air
stroke the trees here, there and everywhere
and be content with what you see

Perhaps then your smile may
charm someone in such a magic way
that the one will fall in love to stay
with you in joy and sorrow from that day

Zywa Please come, Angelina

Please come, Angelina
     away from huzzaza hoopla
Take more time for yourself
     when the clockworks accelerate
tuck away safely under
     any vault you create
Please come, Angelina
there's a fear in the sky
     hear, the winds blow goodbye

Set the order you need
     in a personal journal
which in words of your own
     will be vivid and truthful
never, ever devoured
     by a hurrying hurdle
Please come, Angelina
     there's a storm drawing near
please come to a sky that is clear

Living slowly will help
     to increase your achievements
while you play with the fairies
     that dance cha-cha-cha movements
on the roofs and the towers
     with their merlons and battlements
Please come, Angelina
     I've heard rumours that sigh
     for a stifling hot sky

On the hands of the clock
hangs the time bomb of vanity
but the peace in your head
     is releases humanity
Your attention is your wealth
     to enjoy your life happily
Please come, Angelina
take my heart in your hand
while the sky burns the land

Zywa Hasty farewell

Closing time, the farewell
almost over, the seats free
the table full, the glasses empty

I have to go, I'm leaving
Don't look at me like that, you
old singers in old frames

It's quiet on the street, I'm going
The moon is shining, we are turning
back to the sun already

The dogs stand
The scent of our love
has evaporated

The sheets are cold
Put an extra blanket
over your memory

Zywa The world is waiting for us

No dogs living here anymore
we beat them to death
They didn't have a chance
under our sticks

We laughed at their whining
and at the girls
who didn't dare to look
who ran away

to where they belong
There was a hysterical child
who had hidden a dog
We hunted them together

as if they could escape
Afterwards the girl mowed
away sand between her knees
with her bare hands

The world is waiting for us
to be cleansed
We will free it
from every godless dog
