the rumbling first swells, then dies --
away in the light.
De speedboot vaart weg,	Das Schnellboot fährt ab,
het ronken zwelt eerst aan, sterft --	das Rumpeln wird erst lauter --
dan uit in het licht.	verklingt dann im Licht.
