Zywa Attached

It goes up and down for me
I embrace life and let it go

because it has no future
I crossed off impossibilities
and little concrete remained

But love
For myself, my desire
to live, the people

around me, yes, even for
time and again, their clumsiness

And I don't want to miss any of it
Except when I feel a little better
and get annoyed again

at road users and so on
who act substandard, which is
an unnecessary impoverishment

Yes, it goes up and down
for me, since I have cancer

Zywa Wild flowers

Rustling lanes, winding roads
the rippling on the bank
of the path along the river

wherever the land is not buried
under city, I walk my days
in the smell of rotting

Mushrooms, spider webs
birds in the undergrowth
and dearest to me are the wild
flowers, thistles, chicory
pink anemones and poppies

I admire the gaunt, the sallow
the beauty under
the beauty of
the scars, the life
they pass on

Zywa Wagtails in the garden

Through the shadowy grey
of who what when
the mornings are fuzzy

green of visitors that will dance
and laugh, tell stories
with many gestures

and always find a reason
to touch me and embrace
me intimately

It's all, but not enough
I don't want to
crawl away in my hole yet

Could I only hide
like the sun
and appear again

with wagtails in the garden
and playing children
outside

Zywa Rouse life into me

Undressed, my nakedness
bound in my skin
with sensually tight ropes

And a whizzing wind of arrows
to lick the blood away
from the resented beauty
they gaze at

the women with tears
the men mocking, boys
and girls curiously
excited

Nobody touches me
nobody feels the warmth
of my body
fleeing

Pull the heads out of my flesh
embrace my wounds with your hands
and take me, rouse life into me

Zywa Pyjama days

Pyjama days of being ill
with closed curtains
thinking of being free
with closed curtains
enjoying each other

Being ill is an ardent desire
for sparkling energy
sunlit rooms
never sleep again
sing, laugh, feed

one another tirelessly
and suffer at the most
from the desire
to be immortal
with friends

Zywa More than this

With the inconveniences that
would embarrass me in company
I stay at home as much as possible

It has already happened
I just laugh about it
Being attractive isn't that great either

My friends keep admiring me
only my sister doesn't
call pretty what isn't pretty

She sees me
like I don't like
to see myself

There is nothing more
than this, but I
I want

so much
more
than this

Zywa Gravity

The house is cleaned up
my head is next

hands around a warm glass
lights turned off, staring

at a flame, unnoticed
burning up my worries

But my skull retains
something heavy deeply hidden

seeing no light, concealed
a desire

to live and experience
My skull retains

my centre of gravity
