Zywa The past is for everyone

I have a store full
of old things, it is difficult
to ensure

that they are not sold
to snobs with no idea
of their real value

without the slightest idea
that it cannot be expressed
in their money

only in tax money, annually
to be collected for maintenance
and everything that comes with it

to have the works viewed
by those who are interested
and that can be anyone

which is hard to accept
for barbarians who get rich
from constant replacement

Zywa Away from where you are

I feel the discomfort
of staying where I am
and leaving the problem

to someone else's job or duty
to the neighbours with whom it happens
on the outskirts of the village

It's urgent, there is need
to fix the houses and the barns
but

it takes too long
or there is too little time
for my impatience

I talk with the neighbours
while we wait
until we can move on

within reason and the rules
of the comfort of staying
where we are

Again the night, again the morning
of a new day for dancers
and the other people

crawling out
of the seemingly identical
surprise egg, time is water

in a river that drowns itself
in the world ocean and I flow
with it, I can let myself float

I don't have to be busy
because that wouldn't make sense
but instead of lazing around

I train myself
to watch the sun
the smells in the wind

and the driftwood
next to me and among it
the right moment

to redirect me a bit
to who I want
to be
