Zywa Waiting room (Protect us)

It has been tried:
gods, a god
above man

and never could one trust
the divine when one prayed
and made a wish:

a wish for health
a wish for justice
a wish for peace

And then: the leap
into the unknown
soul

and it brought no solace
The divine soul, too
was a waiting room

without doors to peace
happiness, and the fulfillment
of our wishes:

love us
protect us
from each other

Zywa Dream

If possible, I would close my eyes
be taken by the hand
by my dreams, follow them
into a new heaven
where I forget my sorrows

If possible, I would travel
in my imagination
build palaces, grow
love and hope overnight
and erase the pain

In the world, oppression
misery and suffering
cloud the faces
What people build
is destroyed

In the world, autocrats
are building ever higher walls
They crush dream after dream
put darkness and greed
in our hearts

Zywa Back in the garden

I met someone and asked
Where are you going? Something special?
There's a large field over there
where I will sing
to free my soul

People are golden, star
dust in the large, large field
- finally back in the garden
Oh, can I come with you?
Out of the smog!

We just spin around
in mists without a view
but very perhaps
something changes
in time, or in me

The army no longer throws bombs
but food and drinks
on all the hungry people
without money, devilish money
- finally back in the garden

Zywa Dreaming my dream

I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
like a stray dog, truly free
She was walking down the road
amazed at what She did see
Although her clothes once white were soiled
her laugh was pure and gay:
Please come and walk a mile with me
               It is a lovely day!

Wait, here I come, I called to Her
then I woke up thanks to this scream
I longed for peace to come
               and trusted that my dream
shall be dreamt by many sleepers
at night and during the day
that they will work together
               without violence, profit or delay

I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
               forever hearty and hale
looking out for free souls
not sold and not for sale
And weeping softly in my bed
               I knew, I won't be led astray
I felt, from now on, from today
She will show the way, She'll show the way

Zywa I dreamed of peace tonight

I dreamed of peace tonight
oh dear, I have to hold on tight:
people sharing things together
it's really unpredictable!
But still, whatever I may feel
my dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

I dreamed of peace tonight:
love in practice overnight
as if some magic has occurred
without coercion or force majeure
assented by the Privy Seal!
My dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

I dreamed of peace tonight
it was there for years alright
often promised, not believed
but persistently conceived:
it's what I fight for, my ideal!
My dream is clear and real

my dream is clear and real

Zywa There are words for it

Differences draw boundaries
and there are words for it:
baby, child, man and woman

red, brown, yellow, stupid and smart
black, white, compatriot, barbarian
We know all about it

There is a reason
that we are innocent and
others are offenders

There are words for it
and also answers: punishment, pest
crash, bombs and grenades

manslaughter, hunting, gas and fire
all within the boundaries
of Own Laws First

At home, on this side and
at home, on that side of the border
people wish for peace
