Zywa The cage

Many mice in the cage
and the light stays on
longer and longer
The tension is rising

We distract them
with snacks and drinks
sickeningly sweet or alcoholic
both work

We turn up the heating
We add some more mice
The squeaking swells

Give us a home of our own
Give us an outside
Give us more time
Give us the night back

Give us the guts
to go to sleep
when we are tired
and to leave the cage

to venture back into the world
without chagrin, without a grin
and without living unhealthy

Zywa Breakout

Animals are animals
also in paradise
they weren't safe
from each other, but

then came evil:
ruthless man
from whom even the serpent
had to flee

because of a ripe apple
on the tree in which
he danced

The garden was soon too small
for man, he broke out
and went out into the world
leaving trails

of destruction
conquering and polluting
the highest mountains
and the deepest seas

Zywa Spoiled / Undervalued

On occasions I stand
on a pedestal, but too often
it is me

I am annoyed
by spoiled egos
and undervalued love

Why believe in freedom
and equality? They exist
or do not exist

Rarely do they exist spontaneously
Or should I believe in them
to soothe the doubts

about my actions
my complicity
and sensible modesty?

knowing that children are formed
by adult frustrations and they too
will have to assert the ideals

Zywa The Great Story

What is one is itself
but if you know someone else
you are partly also that person
you are also what was different
until that moment

And you observe that, it dawns
on you and you grow

That's interesting, we repeat it
in stories about people
and the gods they imagine:
the more souls, the merrier and the more
humor thanks to the differences

And the trick is to learn
to see that everyone is everything

Therefore, yes therefore there was
a feast in heaven for the wicked sons
at the end of their tumultuous lives
while the good sons
were taken to hell

And the supreme god laughed
at their illusions

I forget myself, everything
is also me, I am -
one of the countless, living

from relief to relief
in ignorance happy for a while -
still no ending that pleased me

forgotten

Zywa Café The Years

People disappear
in the round off of their group
shifted between deficit and surplus
when the brim is reached

and you still do exist, but all the same
do not count - Nothing can be done about it
For strangers, my life and experiences are
interchangeable, yet non-exchangeable with anyone

Only hypothetically
do my wingbeats matter
amidst all the butterflies
amidst all the flowers

in the gardens of the world
and the vases here
at the centre
of my thoughts

Zywa Relay race

As long as we can we'll walk
in circles together
the youngest in the outer lane

acquire meters and learn a lot
are handed more and more
batons stories where we are

heading a finish line
behind which no one needs
to run anymore hand in hand

we will walk on we will
live in peace we will all be
winners no relay race anymore

the youngest in the outer lane
grandma's on the inside bend
close to the black hole

Zywa In heaven

World citizens run around
Busy parasites in the thin crust
of earth

kept at work by her
and digested in her. She sweats decay
from her pores, a delicious smell

healthy to live in, but intoxicating:
some think they are astronauts
on spaceship Earth

They race nearly 800,000 kilometers
per hour along with the sun, spinning
a pirouette at 1,670 kilometers

per hour. Say them goodbye
adieu, whatever that means
wish them a pleasant journey

to heaven
and upon arrival the realization
that they already were there

Zywa Heroes in heaven

Was it better in the past or only tomorrow?
It cannot be determined, everything changes
and the worlds of then and now only seem
similar to the fact that things are going well
to the turning point: too many people
for their way of life

Groups get in each other's way
They don't want to unite
and hold on to their heroes
who live forever because they did
the impossible and offer hope and comfort
in anxious days, alongside resentment

They indicate eternal enemies
for an everlasting war
to conquer a place in heaven
for everyone, yes we
common people are born
as divine children!

Zywa Palace of mirrors

This palace of mirrors looks quite
common because it refracts everything

into googol beings and objects and even
more tissues, and so on, and so on

No one can see the whole
Only with closed eyes

it is possible to think a whole
out of loose people and see

that they do not exist separately
but live and move in all

mirror pieces, we too -
only blindly I can see

if I dare, that I can
only care well for myself by

Zywa Humans are noble

Ducklings swim around in the water
goose always are keeping pace
but humans are a noble race:
they worry about the future

That means a lot, but
nobody knows: what exactly
where to leads road, why are we
on earth, what is good for you and me?

We don't get sorted
in detail and in general we
hardly ever agree, while we can't
stand that, funny but true

Humans are a talking race
that thrives well in its swamp
of fuss and having the last word
that everyone wants to have said, not heard
