Where I am, I look

outside, are there any signs --

that teach me something?

Waar ik ben, kijk ikWo ich bin, schaue
naar buiten, zijn er tekens --ich hinaus, gibt es Zeichen --

die me iets leren?die mir was lehren?

There were three faint conjunctions of Saturn and Jupiter on November 12th, 7 BCE; the moon had not yet risen, so it was clearly visible that Saturn and Jupiter appeared to stand still for hours at the tip of the zodiacal light, which seemed to be aiming at Bethlehem like a spotlight
In the fourth century CE, the bishops decided to celebrate Jesus' birthday on the day of the midwinter solstice, the pagan feast day of the Invincible Sun; in the Roman calendar, that day fell on December 25th; subsequently, the said conjunctions were interpreted as an announcement of Jesus' birth
It had been customary for centuries to link major events to an astronomical phenomenon, so the compiler(s) of the Gospel of Matthew (around 75 CE) did so as well, but without a specific reference, because none was known

Zywa Start over

Accumulating money changes
into worries until it overflows
and gets into unknown hands

which run away
with my motivation
to continue

Freed from Mondays
I enter space
and I feel the magic

of possibilities
that I used to dream of
My dear, pack your suitcase

On the back of the dragon
we fly through the gate
and start over

on the large bed
of mother earth
We teach our children to sing

Zywa You are different

Falcons do not grab footwear
for their nest, not the slipper
that the Pharaoh gets served on his lap

     He looks up and everyone
     looks with him
at the falcon in the sky

It must be a sign
an assignment from heaven
and the search begins

The welfare of the entire nation
     is at stake, the question
is: to find or to fall

The court moves from cottage to cottage
to see the women and the girls
all over the wide delta

The heavenly slipper fits at the foot
     of the foreign Pale Face
     the slave who is different

She had put it to dry
after washing clothes in the river
and shows the other one

Rhodopis (Pale Face) in Egypt - -1550
Story that is laid in the time of Pharaoh Ahmose I, who expelled the Hyksos from the Nile Delta and then became Pharaoh in Thebes (from 1550 BC). From 1540 he controlled all of Egypt.
Rhodopis ("Pink Face" / "Pale Face") will undoubtedly have been bullied with worse abusive words than her nickname, but Strabo (Amaseia 64 BC - AD 24) has omitted them when he recorded the story under the title Rhodopis

Signs
point the other way
Signs
I too turn the action around

I change what happens:
I stop doing what I do
I'm going to do the opposite
I make a negative charge positive
